Can anyone identify the bride's surname in the last entry for 1783 in this page from the Ashurst Marriage Register
"John Penfold of West Grinstead and Elizabeth XXXXX of Ashurst Jan 20"
Presumably as the new style calendar was in use this should have been 1784

Are they both of the same person?

This picture is marked "Clipstone Camp, Mansfield, 1916"
Is he soldier with the cap in the rear row the same peson as in the above photos?
The enlarged view of the cap badge is possibly the crossed guns of the Machine Gun Corps

Three more pictures, all (I believe) of the same person.

The centre one is embossed "Walter Lee, Grantham"
The right one is rubber stamped on the back "Photographie Alexander vormals Emil Kaiser G.m.b.h." All are standard postcards; the first two are British with "Post Card" printed on the back. The third has a space marked for the stamp and address, but no words apart from the rubber stamp.
