The Etheringtons were not direct ancestors, but a daughter of the family
was the second wife of one of my Aislabie ancestors.
The earliest Etheringtons that I have traced are a father and son, both of whom were named Christopher.
Christopher, Senior, was a shoe maker of Kingston upon Hull.
His son, Christopher, Junior, born around 1632, is described as a Clerk, B.A., Vicar.
He had a son Joseph, born around 1661 who was also a Vicar.
